First piece of worked submitted on dA!

Okay, are you ready? Artist's rant, here goes:

OHMYGOD THIS TOOK ME FOREVER XDD It's my first attempt at CG! I recently got Paint Tool SAI and decided to try it out - I love how smooth it is to use, even though my tablet isn't too great. Also the blur tool is my new best friend. I don't even want to imagine how this would look without it XD; It's also my first time lining any of my artworks using the computer, screw PS's pen tool, SAI works wonders *-*;

I had a lot of trouble with the hair, jacket, scarf basically everything, and while searching through dA for tutorials, I was like "WHY IS THERE NO SCARF TUTORIAL D8" well... of course there wouldn't be a scarf tutorial -A-; Yeah, for my first CG-ing project, idk why I chose this picture (sketched over a year ago), while doing the hair I was literally killing my braincells trying to figure out how the hair/forehead point... part/thing is supposed to look. I should have chose a simpler picture 8D;

Shadows kill me and I still need a lot of practice! (I don't like how I coloured the jacket, but I didn't know what else to do). I'll stick to anime/manga for now I guess XD Yes okay I will shut up now.
